This pack is my fav!

We all have hobbies, whether it be swimming, hockey, chess, or even skateboarding. The latest trend that is going around at the moment is finger skateboarding and tech deck skateboards. It is well known that there are more than two hundred teck decks and once you find a really good one, you will then know that you have the golden deck. Then there are also the collectibles decks that you are able to find. This is more of a collector’s item, so be sure that you do store it away for safe keeping.  You will notice that the fingerboard is very similar in many ways to the normal sized skate board. It has wheels, perfect graphics, and even trucks.

There are also those little things that you have to look out for when you are making a purchase of this nature. It is in your best interest that you do find out more about this type of hobby if you have to. There are so many different articles that you are able to read on the internet, and it is definitely something that you would want to know more about. A fingerboard is normally ninety six millimeters long, and in some instances you will find longer ones. The width will also vary according to the length, but the normal width is twenty six millimeters.

To many this is more than just a hobby. It is one thing that you will find many teenagers competing in, in a sense. They build and plan their very own ramp and from this it is shown to the world. This is more than a hobby in many regards, as the kids that are reading up as much as they can about this fingerboard are not just kids. More like boys and their toys! This is also one of the ways that professional skateboarders go about demonstrating new moves that they plan on doing, and if you are a fan of skateboarding or even Tony Hawks you will see that there are ideas been toyed with on a regular basis.

There are the components of this little machine that you need to know about, so the more that you know about your new toy the better. All fingerboards have grip tape, wheels, trucks, bushings and the deck. You are very easily able to modify the deck as well as the trucks. This is made easy so that you stay up to date with the latest trend and are also able to keep your old deck. The process of modding is done in order to not only keep it up to speed with style, but also for much improved smoothness and an all around perfect look and feel.

You will be surprised to find that there is also a miniature version of snowboarding that has grown along with the trend of fingerboarding and tech deck skateboards. Snowboarding on a smaller scale is nothing but loads of fun. Back in the year 1999 there was a snowboarding competition held with a prize of one thousand dollars as the prize, and this brought in many competitors from all over the USA as well as other countries.

Take a look at http://www.millionaireplayboy.com/toys/techdeck.php to see more of the collectors’ items that are available.

Tech Deck Skateboards

Tech deck skateboards are miniature toy skateboards. These skateboards are designed much like real ones, with such details as the board’s natural concave-top surface. This allows the user the ability to perform the same type of tricks that a person would perform on a regulation-sized skateboard, only using his fingers in place of the skateboarder’s legs and feet.

1. Place your index finger on the front of the board to simulate the left foot of the skateboarder. Place either your middle or ring finger, depending on what you feel more comfortable with, to act as the skateboarder’s right foot.

2. Start each trick by slamming down on the back of the board to allow the tech deck to become airborne. Perform this in either a stationary position or a moving position; however, this is the first motion for each type of trick.

3. Do the basic ollie trick. Perform Step 2 so that the tech deck becomes airborne. Make sure that all four wheels have come off of the ground, catch the board by placing your two fingers back in their starting positions and land safely on the starting surface. Master this trick before moving on to the move advanced tricks.

4. Perform a kickflip. Again, start by first performing Step 2, then flicking your index finger forward hitting the front left or right tip of the tech deck to make it rotate. Allow it to make one full rotation, then catch it with both fingers for a clean landing.

5. Carry out a shove-it. Perform Step 2. Once the tech deck is in the air, lift your index finger off of the board and allow it to flip end over end one time until it is back in the starting position. Land with both fingers in their starting positions.
